Westfield Fisherman Missing After Storm Sail
A Westfield fisherman from Barcelona, Ward Kran, was blown from the fishing grounds during a high wind storm on October 28. He failed to return with the other boats, alarms and calls to Dunkin and nearby harbors yielded no trace, and he later said he could not reach the harbor last night due to heavy seas. He landed ashore two miles from here for the night.
