Tax Bill Could Slow Chrysler Growth In State
Pennsylvania Governor Shafer said Chrysler Corp warned that an 85 percent hike in corporate income tax could slow its planned expansion in western Pennsylvania, including a multi million dollar assembly plant near New Stanton. He noted a broader $151 million in new business taxes would not be needed if his proposals pass, but further tax hikes could still be considered. The YMCA calendar for the week of October 27 1969 lists activities across several days with pools, classes, and community events. A British Home Office order requires police not to present unshaven suspects at identification parades.
