Spring Creek Man Crushed Leg in Barrel Accident

A Spring Creek man named Gimtk was seriously injured yesterday afternoon while unloading a cider barrel from a wagon. As he lowered the heavy barrel it slipped, pinned him, and crushed his right leg with badly splintered bones. Old Corry Resident Mrs Geer Dead After Illness

Mrs Lara A Geer a longtime Corry resident aged eighty eight died late last night at her Maple Avenue home from a complication of ailments. Survived by son Hillet N Geer and J Burton Geer a grandson, plus sister Mrs Jars Geer and brother Myson W Cogswell. Funeral at Maple Avenue residence Wednesday at one oclock with Rev H C Shaw, interment in Warren.
