Longtime Logan Family Matriarch Dies at Home
Mrs. Logan died at home after a lengthy illness. Born in Chautauqua County in 1839, she moved with Perens to Spring Creek in 1843 and married John in 1862. Surviving are daughters Marie and Andy, grandchildren and great grandchildren, with services at the home conducted by Rev. Grimes and Interment in Spring Oaks Cemetery. The family thanks friends and neighbors for aid during illness. Cal E. Drake, then a justice of the peace, officiated at the marriage of Mr. and Mrs. Logan.
