Escape of 40000 pheasants shocks Crawford County farm
In Cambridge Springs Crawford County 40000 pheasants escaped from a 500 acre enclosure after a wet snowfall Friday. Owner Russell Enlow lamented the loss as only 1000 birds had been recovered within a 25 mile radius by nightfall. Game Commission blamed damaged nylon fencing from the Thursday night storm.
