Mrs. Johan a Goring, 90, of Liberty Street Corry, died last evening at Corry Hospital from complications after an infection. She came to the United States about 30 years after birth on April 30, 1856 in Boeckholt Germany, lived in Clymer before moving to Corry 55 years ago. Survived by four sons Benjamin William Henry and John all of Corry and daughter Mrs. J Fred Weaver, plus three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. A member of St Elizabeths church she was active until illness. Funeral Saturday at St Elizabeths at 9 AM with interment there.

Two More Corry Women Summoned in Vote Probe
Two additional Fourth Ward residents, alleged to have voted illegally for years, were cited to appear before the Erie County Registration Commission at Erie Saturday at 10. Mrs Albert Amorosso of South Center street and Mrs Carl Pierre of Myrtle street face questions about their registrations and votes. Neither has naturalization papers, yet they have cast ballots for years. Pierre claims she believed automatic naturalization occurred upon arrival and marriage in New York City twelve years ago. Assistant County Detective John Costes served subpoenas Wednesday to begin inquiry into how their names were added to registers and how aliens voted. Nina Messina of Spring Street is charged with illegal voting and will have a hearing Monday. she allegedly registered and voted while naturalization was pending, receiving final papers only about three weeks ago.
