Robbers Fire Home of Victim in Jamaica

Two men attacked and bound Mrs Emma Wetzel, caretaker of an Episcopal Church chapel in Jamaica, and set the chapel on fire. She was rescued by Patrolman Rich as flames spread. Concord Township tax collector Nimmo in custody after assault

James Ey Nimmo, Concord Township tax collector, was arrested by Constable Warner McCray after an alleged assault on Charles Stutte, the rival charged with battery and resisting arrest. About fifty parents and friends attended Sunday programs by the Parent Teachers Association at Hatch School. DA Hillstrom spoke on the Bond issue, Mrs Barnes praised Dr Finnegan’s program, and E J Lewis led plans for a Halloween parade.
