Erie pair awarded verdict in car crash suit
The Erie couple, Jess Shiling and Mary Gurclyn, were awarded $612.50 against Harald Sournible of Hyvletown for injuries from a February 6 1929 crash near Union City Titusville road when a car driven by Samuelshabla skidded and turned over. Mrs Stert-Tig sought $232.50 for losses plus expenses. The case appeared in Crawford county court last Friday.

Quarrel Ends in Shooting at Ellsworth Home
Police answered a disturbance call at the Ellsworth home south of Brocton. Joseph Catoggi also known as Joseph DelFrey, 38, of North East Pa, allegedly fired one shot wounding Mrs Ellsworth while her husband pushed her aside to protect her. Catoggi was jailed and held for grand jury action.
