Adolescent Suicide in Meadville Shocks Community
In Meadville a 12 year old boy James E. Jeffers adopted son of Mr and Mrs James J Jeffers of Rowley killed himself with a .22 caliber pistol in the family home after leaving a note asking that his savings be given to his sisters. Deputy coroner Dr. Dartiel D Maloney said the death was self inflicted. He died at Spencer Hospital after the shooting.
