At a special council meeting bids for finishing materials for a sewer on Hacker Street were opened. Kane Lineber ald Pilet Co. received the accepted bid of 6 077.99, with a total project cost upward of 4 000 and about 2 800 linear feet to be laid, to be supplied by the 1 W. T. The award amount appears inconsistent in the record.
Mrs and Mrs Wells of East Second Street celebrate their fiftieth wedding anniversary on Tuesday October 23. Neighbors and friends are invited to call between 2 and 5 PM and after 7 PM for the milestone observance.
