Fire department handles grass blaze on North Center Street
Just a Paragraf JWite city fire department was call a shortly before 10 o'clock halight to extinguish a grass blaze on North Center street. Firemen to day expressed the belief that the fire had started from leaves that were being burned in that vicinity. City police picked up a black and White dog in the Fairhaven area yesterday. The animal was running forge in violation of the city ordi nance. Officers said today the owner may claim the dog by calling at the city pound.
