Moonshine raid uncovers large Corry distillery amid road work
A raid by state troopers led by Sgt. E. C. Bergen swept the Dimick home on East Wayne Street uncovering a 50 gallon still and a 20 gallon still with 34 gallons of moonshine. Officers seized two barrels of mash and liquor, declaring enough to produce about a thousand gallons. The operation followed earlier raids on Joins on Union Street and Plaherty’s place on East Wayne Street.
