Woman Slain After Argument in Harrisburg Office
Bertha J. Smith 49 of Harrisburg, a General State Authority worker, was shot to death as she left a shopping center office. George E. Siple 47 was arraigned on murder charges and held in Dauphin County jail. Police say the shooting followed an argument between friends. A 12 gauge shotgun was used. The GSA offices are in the Kine location.
