Business Boom Ahead From England Optimism
London dispatch reports English leaders bankers and economists foresee a prosperous era, sparked by wartime settlements and a cautious peace. They credit Munich and the Czech crisis for reducing a potential powder keg, while Roosevelt Hull and reciprocal trade acts bolster hopes for shared recovery. Inflation fears and debt negotiations with the United States color the outlook, but confidence in ongoing rearmament restraint persists.
