Trial Begins In Death Of Corry Native

In Judge William Pratt's courtroom the Okey Bages murder trial opened with jurors hearing two rival versions of Orville Huff's death on April 27. District Attorney Hubert Chase described Huff as drinking and approaching Boggs trailer where shots were fired from Boggs' residence. Huff allegedly was shot once in the chest and three times in the back. Erie County board awards Kibler 14670 for seized 40 North Center property

The Erie County board of view awarded Mayor Mary Ann Kibler fourteen thousand six hundred seventy dollars for her 40 North Center Street property taken by the Corry Redevelopment Authority for a new parking lot between Frye's Drugs and the Elks Club.
