Local budget shows solid balance across funds in county treasury
County treasury director Harvey Wills reported a total balance of 605 847.67 as of September 20 with 420 178.20 in the general fund 151 372.65 in the Nauld fuels tax fund and 284 321.28 in the Tuberculosis Hospital fund. A stolen piggy bank containing about 400 was taken from Frank Bizarra’s home through an unlocked window while the family was away. Police noted a 1946 Chevrolet truck is for sale at Thomas Motors.
