Commission Holds Paying Bids Up As Too High

Commissioners kept bids for paving Pleasant Park and Spring Streets on hold amid concern they were too high. The City Engineer’s estimate for Washington Street pavement totaled 8294 and Harris Co had additional crossing repair bill 8.72. Keystone Co bid 10186 for Pleasant Street and Park Place while Love and Son bid 1503 47 for Spring Street and 910,298 for Pleasant Street and 4770 90 for Park Place.
