Foster Parents Battle To Keep Brent Leitzel
Five year old Brent Leitzel is back with his parents after a custody shift. Foster father Samuel Stapleton says a November Superior Court hearing will appeal a Dauphin County ruling ordering Brent returned to Elwood and Lynne Leitzel. Judge Lipsitt had cited the Stapletons for contempt and threatened jail terms, stayed awaiting appeals. Brent’s mother says she never gave up hope while the agency had Brent return earlier, and Brent reportedly did not grasp the concept of time about his stay.
