Jamestown considers additional 20000 for airport crash claim
Jamestown City Council discussed six claims including a 10400 demand by Donald V. Edwards of Upper Montclair New Jersey for damages from a August crash at the Municipal Airport. Edwards said a one foot wall obstruction on the northeast runway caused the crash during approach and cited no warning markers or notices of construction as progress continued since July to extend the runway for All American Airlines service between Buffalo and Pittsburgh.
