Schedules For Chest X Rays In Warren County

Residents of Warren County may get tee chest x rays during the week of October 16. The Warren County Tuberculosis and Health Society, sponsored by the Warren Lions Club, lists: October 18 in Columbus at the fire hall from 5:00 to 9:00 p m and in Garland at the Irwin Mig Co from 1:00 to 3:00 p m. On Friday, October 20, a mobile unit will be in front of Montgomery Ward in Watren from 12:00 to 5:00 p m and 6:00 to 9:00 p m. The next day at the same location, x rays will be offered from 10:00 a m to 1:00 p m and from 2:00 to 5:00 p m.

DETROIT AF The UAW International Executive Board meets with a double mission to review Ford Motor negotiations and decide actions on two non economic issues blocking an end to the nine day strike by 120000 Ford hourly workers. Walter P Reuther says all night sessions possible as the union aims to present a new contract to the Ford Council Thursday. Non economic items involve production standards and more company paid union reps to handle grievances. Reuther and Ford vice president Malcolm L Denise report progress but no decisions. Also on the agenda is AMC contract rejection by Local 72 Kenosha Wisconsin where 1500 members voted 1507 1444 against ratifying profit sharing plan. UF Kickoff Starts Two Week United Fund Drive

The 1961 United Fund drive in Erie begins tonight with campaign workers and division chairmen meeting at the YMCA at 8 o clock to receive instructions and calling kits. Jack Moss of Associated Contractors says his son Robert Moss a Pennsylvania Air National Guard member has been recalled to duty delaying design work on the Fourth Ward plaza at the former high school site. The younger Moss had been set to design the Corry plaza and with his absence the project is pushed back for an undetermined period. A national department store chain has expressed interest in joining the plaza and Moss will meet with officials this week.

Public hearings near for city Master Plan ordinances

The City Planning Commission met with Michael Baker engineers to prepare final hearings on the Master Plan. Mayor Kinley Councilman Weber and others attended at Sorry Area High School.
