Richard Dowd six year old son of Mrs Aretha Dowd of Spartansburg was seriously injured yesterday afternoon and is in Corry Hospital today with multiple fractures of the skull. The boy either jumped or fell from a car driven by his mother in the driveway at the home. He was rushed to hospital by his mother. Doctors reported severe fractures but no immediate danger and expected recovery barring complications. The mother is employed by Aero Supply.
