Erie police probe two unrelated city shootings
Police investigate two separate Erie shootings on Saturday night in the same block on the east side. Victims James Carter, 28, and Mina Mae Benson, 21, were hospitalized. Benson listed in fair condition in ICU and pregnant. Edward Bassham, 35, Erie, was charged with assault with intent to kill and firearm violations in Benson case.
