Meadville Pa Oct 9 Daniel Scurouter a well known brakeman on the Erie was pinned beneath a string of cars in the West yard about 10 oclock Thursday night. His right foot was crushed and amputated at the Spencer Hotel prior to hospital treatment. He remained conscious and told friends its a hard game. Schroeder a Ger ny native long in Meadville and employed at Cogswell restaurant is widely known and sympathetic in the community.
