Members of the Epsilon Phi Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi held a meeting at Lois VanderWeele's home with Gertrude White presenting oil and pastel techniques. The group marketed the Gourmet cookbook. A second gathering featured guests at Sue Ahl’s home. Luann Day Stockton was named 1973 74 queen of P O N Y Associated Clubs at a Moose Lodge coronation following the awards banquet with 225 attendees from PA OH NY.

Orientation for New Pledges at Xi Beta Phi Sorority
The Hillcrest home of Mrs Thomas Pierotti hosted an Xi Beta Phi pledge orientation led by president Mrs Richard Gambino. Officers and chairmen outlined duties and activities, with a game style “Who We Are” program and an indoor wiener roast during refreshments. Separately, births were reported for several local families, and Betty Rice of Boise suffered injuries after a motorcycle crash near Ontario, Oregon when struck by a flying pheasant.
