Tracks of giant human footprints perplex northern Californians

AP report describes a Big Indian track mystery near Weltehpec with prints up to 16 inches long and five inches wide at the heel. Taxidermists Corbett and Tiymus and logger Gerald Crew examined prints 15 miles north of Westchpec, noting very large human-like tracks and a 60 inch stride. Local accounts tie the mystery to an Indian youth who vanished decades ago, rumored to have grown to seven feet tall and 400 pounds, though no one has corroborated sightings of the creature for years.
