Wake Island attacked again as US ships press assault

Firemen Save Park St Home From Early Morning Blaze

The double dwelling on Park Street, home to the families of Eihany Zstropatos and Alexander Boag, was saved by Corry firemen before 11 oclock. Flames spread from a basement fault near the furnace, smoke filled both apartments, but booster pumps and quick action limited damage. Boag apartment suffered heavy fire damage to stairs and floors. Zstropulos unit damaged mainly by smoke with no major fire spread.
