A 38 year old disabled woman Miss Wyland Santino of New York was assaulted by a motorist near North East on Monday afternoon after she refused his demands. She was struck on the jaw and hurled from the car and reported the incident to police. The assailant, identified as an oil salesman, offered a ride from Buffalo to Detroit before the attack occurred near North East.

The sports roadster, stolen recently, was found near Two Mile Run road after parts were removed. Gibson jailed in Venango County.

The leader said state wets and dries clash as party leaders refuse to back Rupp or Senator Davis. A vigorous dry campaign is planned to the limit.
