Scotland Home Rule Question Reemerges in British Parliament
The article notes a revived Scotland home rule measure in Parliament proposed by a Glasgow MP and backed by Scottish Labour members. It envisions a Scottish parliament with 148 members, its own post office and tax system, linked to the Empire via the foreign office and military. It compares prospects to Ireland's autonomy and argues Scotland currently holds substantial self government within the United Kingdom.
