A 22 year old Meadville resident thwarted two kidnappers James Williamson and Glenn Herbstritt after they abducted her near Route 321 in McKean County. She led them to a Meadville bar where she enlisted help from friends. Herbstritt is jailed on kidnapping and a $51 theft claim. A late weekend stretch sees student David J. Waler, 19, of Edinboro State College, jailed on criminal mischief after punching through a display window at Paul’s Men’s Wear.
