Michael Kearns of Wattsburg will face questioning in an inquest led by Coroner Dan Hanley regarding the death of John Heif also known as John Miller, of Youngstown, who died near Wattsburg when a hay-rack struck his car driven by Harley Wells of Waterford. The hay-rack, reportedly unlit, fled the scene. Heft’s injury came when a board from the hay-rack shattered Wells’ car window, killing Heef. Wells was unhurt, Heft’s body was sent to Youngstown for burial, and he left a wife and four-year-old daughter.
