Public Invited To Columbus PTA Smorgasbord
The Columbus School PTA invites the public to a Saturday smorgasbord starting at 5 p.m. at the school. Tickets, $2.50 for adults and free or reduced for children, are sold by fourth to sixth graders or at the door. Take-out orders available via back door. chairmen include Mrs. Samuel Smith and Mrs. Frank Smith with several other volunteers handling tickets, dining room, desserts, publicity, and decorations.

Open House Planned for Ivan and Annabelle Miller Farewell
Mr and Mrs Ivan Miller of RD 3 Corry will be honored with a farewell open house at Beaverdam Mennonite Church Sunday from 2 30 to 6 30 PM. The Millers moved to the community in 1997 and have been active in church work and 4 H. He is a former national potato council director and past president of the Pennsylvania Co operative Potato Growers Association. They will move to Orrville Ohio on November 1 and winter in Bradenton Florida.

The Corry Afternoon Duplicate Bridge Club met at the Corry Country Club for its fall luncheon and officer election then played a six table open pairs tournament. Winners included Mrs. Philip Zalzneck and Mrs. Virginia Ross 81 percent and several teams with 75 74 and 73 percent. New officers: Mrs. Stowe president Mrs. Oman secretary Mrs. Hall treasurer Mrs. Hansen unit representative and Mrs. E S Thompson director. A regular game is set for next Tuesday at 1 PM at the YMCA inviting local players.
