Literary clubs resume work next week after recess
After a summer break the city’s literary clubs will restart meetings next week. The Readers will gather Monday for a light breakfast at 12:80, with the yearbooks presented by Mrs. E. O. Barnes and discussions led by Mrs. Wight. The Authors Club meets Monday at 7:00 pm, with roll call and current events. An afternoon social for the Quaero Wollub is planned at Mrs. Addis Waggoner’s home. A Bible program and banquet at the Phoenix Motel are on the calendar, with Miss Fuller and Mrs. Robinson among speakers. The federation aims to hold a Historical Circle meeting soon and announce more events.
