The Interstate Commerce Commission will hold a public hearing in Jamestown next Thursday on the application of the J. W. and N. W. Railroad Company to abandon its line along the east shores of Chautauqua Lake.
City and Vicinity reports show Jamestown area aiming to raise 4000 for the emergency polio fund in Chautauqua County as final-day pledges arrive. Donations Thursday push the Tuned fund to 2999.13 via the Marion Club of Jamestown Fire Department, with other local ads and notices interspersed.
