Transmission may occur through person to person contact via hand discharges sputum and possibly stool urine. Isolation and thorough disinfection of patient rooms stools sputum and all used articles are advised during an outbreak. Domestic animals especially cats dogs and birds are noted as affected and should be kept away from households.

Albion Man Killed in Albion Store Shooting
In Albion Virginia storekeeper Frank Franel was fatally shot by Mikko Minnitt who fled with two companions after three revolver shots struck Franel in the right breast under the arm and the side. Franel died at the Albion hospital around 5 this morning. Minnitt was captured later.

The young man found in Waters Creek near Boscobel is identified as Joseph McClane, 47, of Wheeling. Wilkinson of Boscobel reported the discovery, and Coroner Hanley will oversee burial after identification.

Captain Baker showed antique railroad tickets dated 1860 1861 from the Sunbury and Williamsport line. One reads Good for one ride from Warren to A B Lynettson with conductor note. Another from Waterford to Fortes at a station now Colzn Db mile east of Corry. A third, 1861, From Erie to Union City then known as Mills. Tickets were presented by an old railroad man who worked the Sunbury and Brie line.
