Corry Woman Killed In Ice Skid Crash
Mrs. Peter Urbanek 51 of Corry died instantly when an ice slick caused her car to skid off a five foot embankment east of Clymer on the Jamestown road at 11 30 this morning. Her daughter Mrs Frank Butcher was shaken and bruised. Urbanek’s body was taken to Davison Funeral Home and later to the family home south of Corry. Funeral to be at St Elizabeths Church Tuesday at 9 am with burial in St Elizabeths Cemetery.

Four Die In Wisconsin Farm Home Fire
Fairchild Wis Nov 30 four people died in a farm home fire caused by a kerosene explosion. Mrs Lewis Wood and her three young children were in the house when flames erupted. Lovice aged four died en route to hospital Marjorie two and Ramona three months passed away within hours. Sentenced for Livestock Theft in Crawford County
Charles Perry of Spartansburg road was sentenced to four months and fined $10 after pleading guilty to larceny of livestock. Perry and Mike Dean allegedly stole a calf from a Brown Hill farmer on August 1, 1933. Dean was paroled after arrest. Perry had fled the state, served time in Atlanta federal prison, and was arrested again by Crawford County officers. Perry will serve the four months in the county jail.
