Cornell Continues as Solicitor
Wounell yesterday morning declined to say his view on the status of the solicitor position amid rumors that cabinet members planned to discuss the matter at an exclusive session. Members said the question of asking Cy Solicitor Cornell to take the post was not raised after the manslaughter case. Heley will not comment. The council and Cornell will remain in their current roles and continue to perform their duties.
