Water was struck Saturday at the site of the new one room elementary school for Wayne and Concord townships near the present Spencer School. Business Manager E Anderson of the Corry Area School District said the flow is about 60 gallons a minute, far below the estimated 30 gallons a minute needed to supply the building. Water was reached at the 87 foot depth. officials have sent samples to Minnesota to establish the water quality. Drillers estimated the water could be seven times the needed quantity once fully developed.
In Kittanning Pennsylvania a 92 year old unemployed truck driver wounded his wife Esther Bussard and killed himself after an argument about her staying out. Police and coroner confirmed murder attempt and death by own action with Mrs Bussard in fair condition at Glrion Hospital.
