W W Hasbrouck died yesterday at Corry Hospital after a several week illness. He was 72, born May 16, 1842 in Concord township and lived in the area his entire life. He engaged in grocery business from 1869 to 1871, then focused on farming and stock raising on the Hasbrouck homestead. He retired in 1905 and moved to Corry, later devoting himself to fancy gardening. Survived by two sons Albert L Hasbrouck of Corry and Rank A Hasbrouck of New York City, and a daughter Mrs Area M Amy of Erie. Funeral services will be at his East Saving Street home Friday at 2 pm, interment Pine Drive cemetery.
