Mayville forgery convict given 2 1 2 to 5 year term
George C Treeler 24 of Mayville was sentenced by County Judge Rollin A Fancher to two and one half to five years in Attica State Prison after pleading guilty to second degree forgery. Indicted August 20 for a forged $87 check, the case says he was in Monroe County Prison at the time and not brought to Mayville until October 14. The report notes prior pleas and dates.
