Mercer Pa November 25 judge O Clair Kent of Crawford County will preside at the murder trial of LeRoy Palmef 28 for the axe slaying of Howard Sidley 26. Windley a gas station operator is set for the December term of court. Kent will arrive December 9th to oversee the proceeding.
Washington state police said an old grudge drove William Pearson 50 to kill Brady Winters 29 and then kill himself in a murder suicide. The motive traced to Winters courting Pearson’s daughter Sarah, authorities said.

The governor sent letters to the chairs of the agencies urging action to uncover the A G and E financing system, calling the lobbying campaign Beyond lawful authority.

Harrisburg May 25 Pennsylvania received today its last federal money for direct relief in accordance with Harry L. Hopkins ruling that the dole shall end December. Governor Harris transmitted to the state treasury a 1,080,000 check for relief during November. This brought the total in federal funds for November to 8,110,000.
