Franklin Nov 24 A bank lobby displays an automated receiving teller. The device accepts a card, dispenses a ten cent savings sample, and credits deposits when the card is filed. Children visiting Saturdays between 9 and 12 are shown the jacket and given a sample savings card to start an account.
SPEAKS BEFORE SCHOOL CLUB Mr Junkins director of Dramatic Institute spoke to the High Dramatic Club at the last meeting. He described benefits of the institute and the club named Grace Prius has grown to forty five members. The club plans a mid December Christmas play and a series of two week plays for the next two to three months. Enthusiasm and novel programs are noted with a representative to the Dramatic Institute.
Local churches list upcoming services and events with times and speakers. Piret Methodist Church and Alliance Church schedules include morning worship, youth meetings, special concerts, and a union Thanksgiving service at the Presbyterian Church. The First Church of Christ Scientist, First Methodist and other congregations provide Sunday School, sermons, and prayer meetings, inviting all residents to attend.

Troy Jr. Meetings at Eastern Star Hall include 9:45 A M Bible School 11:00 A M Worship of God with the sermon His Rest 7:30 P M Praise and Preaching on Grace and Glory, citing 1 Timothy 1 10 11 and related verses.
