Died at Jamestown Charles Mulkie obituary
Charles Mulkie died at Jamestown after a long illness. He had worked for the Corry company and retired three and a half years ago. He was a member of St Thomas Church Corry Lodge and Stanford Hose Company. Surviving are three cousins and relatives. The body lies at Boyd Funeral Home Jamestown and will be brought to the city for services. Interment at St Elizabeth Cemetery. The parents of eight year old John S Devens were awarded 37360 in damages against M A Henry and Co Inc in a federal case settled November 12 1948. The suit charged that the boy injured when his cowboy suit caught fire while trying to stamp out a small blaze. The parents had sought 150000 in the suit filed April 4.
