Fire destroys large barn and 80 cattle at Silver Creek
A barn on the Cherry Creek road between Arkwright Immait and Nillville burned Wednesday destroying 80 head of cattle, oil tanks, silage, grain and machinery. The blaze, seen by many spectators, left the cause unknown and a horse was saved. The structure was formerly known as the Chauncey Abbey Garin. Win A Wilder recovered the fire’s end at about 10 80 p.m.
