Former Corry Mayor Nathanie Stone Dies in Ohio

Nathanie Stone former mayor of Corry and longtime local business man died yesterday in Chagrin Falls Ohio at his daughter’s home. The funeral will be held Saturday at the First Presbyterian Church with burial in Corry. He served Corry as mayor from 1897 to 1899 and earlier as council member. He had lived with his daughter after selling his business following the death of his wife two years earlier.

Annual Praise Meeting Reported by Presbyterian Missionary Society

The Presbyterian Missionary Society held its annual praise meeting at the church on Wednesday afternoon with large attendance. Mrs. Frank Crowell, society president, reported on the Synodical meeting in Philadelphia where she attended as Erie Presbytery’s delegate. Rev.
