Burleighs buy 12 Rome township parcels for oil leases
Howard Burleigh of East Branch and son Arthur, drilling contractors on the south of town test well by Leon Watson, purchased 12 parcels in Rome township Crawford county from Dr R R Weasel of Pittsburgh. They plan further wells amid existing leases as several are already producing.

Local Workers Suffer Injuries From Accidents
James Kolstée of Union City was treated at Corry Hospital for severe lacerations to his index finger after his hand caught in a chaisaw while employed by Paul Lyons Lumber Co. He returned home after treatment by Dr Williams. Roy Stufflebeam of the city street cleaning force sustained a head laceration from a shovel strike near Washington and Center streets. Dr J C Kiley treated him before he was returned home.
