Mr Ireland lived in Columbus twenty years and ran a jewelry and watch repair shop at home after retiring from Thomas Chevrolet Garage eight years ago. He was a member of Columbus Congregational Church and the Corry VFW. Surviving are his wife a daughter Mrs Gaylord Doris Northrop of R D 1 Corry two sons Rex W Blairsville and Arthur D Corry a brother Gale Marion Ohio and seven grandchildren. Burial will be in West Lawn Cemetery Columbus after services Monday conducted by Rev Walter Thoms.

Boy 9 Kills Dad In Baltimore Home Shooting
A 9 year old boy is detained in connection with the fatal shooting of his father Allen McLean 36 as he slept on a sofa after a family quarrel in Baltimore. The boy Derwin will undergo a psychiatric examination. State's Attorney Charles E Moylan Jr will decide on disposition. Maryland law ordinarily requires 14 to form criminal intent but the case may test law on juvenile responsibility.

Georgia and Oklahoma air crews rush Christmas mail to Vietnam
Nine flights are planned to Viet Nam before Christmas with at least six flights next week by the Georgia Air National Guard to deliver mail and packages collected by Georgians and nearby residents. Oklahoma state vehicles and a private trucking firm moved 60 tons of parcels to Tulsa and Oklahoma City for later airlift by the Oklahoma Air Guard.

Erie Lackawanna settles $115,000 in fatal rail accident case
Donna M. Allman of Olean obtained a $115,000 out of court settlement from Erie Lackawanna for the death of her husband Thomas G. Auman on August 14, 1964 near Olean. The incident involved a maintenance car derrick boom swinging and a hit by a passenger train.
