Former Corry Area star John Wascak, a junior at Thiel College in Greenville, earned a first team defensive nod on the Presidents Athletic Conference All Star squad. He anchored the Tomcats defense as middle guard and co captain at times, part of six Thiel players on the all conference list. Mike Ganey of Alleghany led the league with passing records and was cited as a potential small college All American.
