Services for Emma L. Wilson were held at 2 p m yesterday at Bracken Funeral Home with Rev. Elmer Ortner officiating. Burial followed in Pine Grove Cemetery. Bearers included Leonard, Merlyn, Edgar, Duane, Ralph and Richard Jukes, with many relatives from Jamestown and surrounding towns attending.
A continuation notes a driver hit a utility pole after skidding on icy roads causing $180 in damage with no injuries. A second incident by J Warren Cartright with a truck slid into a road grader near Columbus on Route 957, totaling $650 in damage. operator Floyd Utegg was involved.
A four month old infant abducted from a Delaware Turnpike rest stop near Newark Friday night was found safe in Middletown early today. Police questioned an 18 year old youth picked up at Smyrna. no charges filed yet. Infant named Jonathan David Wishneski of Point Pleasant New Jersey.

State Police report Crable was arraigned and pleaded not guilty and is held without bail in Crawford County jail. A hearing date is not set. Mrs. McKinley was found slain in her living room with throat slashed and multiple stab wounds. Police note possible struggle with ripped telephone wires and Crable’s claimed area presence the night of the crime. Crable reportedly said a friend followed in another car and he visited Cargo Cleaners with a jacket for cleaning. He is described as 5'9" with blond hair and a mustache.

Erie County Hospital Administrator Brueckman proposed county wide nursing care centers for rehabilitated patients to cut the 700 person waiting list at the county hospital. He urged using motels and apartments for care, noting the 250 bed expansion won t be ready for years and praising the Adult Foster Home Care program which has helped about 67 elderly people. He called for county wide help to implement the plan.
