Quash Charge In Warren Case On Williams Vehicle theft
A Warren county court dismissed an automobile larceny charge against Ward Williams after defense and prosecutors agreed the case should be quashed. Judge Alli son D Wade ruled partnership between Warren dealer Kenneth L Day and Williams invalidated criminal liability for larceny of partnership assets. The 1947 Cadillac valued at 4000 dollars was central to the dispute and the title issue. O Day testified Williams claimed loss of the title and Day filed for a duplicate, later recovering the original title from a Buffalo dealer.
