A revived community house plan gains support from city leaders and church representatives. The effort envisions a central hub with facilities for Boy Scouts, Camp Fire Girls, swimming, and athletic equipment, funded by a cooperative push and church partnerships.
R A Patterson Sr aged 82 died at home on North Center Street Columbus after a lingering illness. Survived by wife and five sons and several daughters including Robert A Patterson Charles H Patterson George W Patterson Rev Albert Patterson and Mrs Edith Whiting. Born in Scotland he came to America about 12 years old and settled in Canada before moving to Ohio. Funeral Saturday at 2 pm with burial in Pine Grove Cemetery.
